Wonderfully balanced photo. Native or alien species?

Hi Walt. Very much a native species: a Watsonia, if I am not mistaken. We have some beautiful indigenous flowers scattered about the “veld” …the grasslands in the background, which are in a pristine state in this picture but for the invasive tree at right…a black wattle.
